Blah!

Okay so life's ruff around these parts right now, with heats hitting 35o and higher I'm about ready to start crying! I know some of you are rolling your eyes thinking that's our winter temps but for Vancouver BC, it's disgusting hot!

Makes me feel absolute pain for my husband who is a Tar and Gravel Roofer. He came home from work yesterday and said if it wasn't his company he'd quit!

Any who my craft room is pretty stinkin hot and I haven't been interested in going in there this week, I gave it a go yesterday and attempted this card, WHICH I HATE! You know when a card is unsavable to you, this card went there. So I titled it BLAH! matching my temperature and crafting skills this week.

I used the sketch from Mojo Monday and the theme from Cupcake Craft Challenge

My DP is My Mind's Eye with Chocolate and Old Olive. My image is Stampendous and I coloured with Copics: R05-08-21-22, E41-43-44, YG95.

Check out these blogs.......

I stumbled upon some wonderful blogs today. First thing this morning I made my card for Papertake weekly, when I was looking through their blog I noticed a card by Emma that took my breath away so I emailed the coordinator for Emma's blog address. Emma's card used Gorjuss Girls by Sugar Nellie so I Googled them which lead me to Kristen's Krafty Palace . Where I learned she is giving away a set of the Gorjuss Girls as BLOG CANDY! While I was at her blog I started poking around and found tons of things that blew me away and I came across a HUGE coincidence Emma and Kristen have a Challenge blog together called Allsorts!

Small world hey:o)

Isnt that totally BAZAAR! I thought I should give them both an award becasue they made my day:o)

For all you Blog Hopper's out there

I wanted to talk about Feeburner. Feedburner is the company that delivers my blog updates to your inbox/email.

One of my subscribers asked me why the updates don't include the content of the post and why they have to log onto the Blog to view it. AND why it only brings up the one post not the whole blog.

The reason you only receive the title of the post is because of a setting I have selected. I selected to send you the title so that you are alerted when I post, if you wish to read it it is then up to you to log on and check it out. I like this setting because you visit my blog and possibly see posts or features you had missed.
The next thing in her question was "why is it only the post and not the entire blog when I click on it"

Well that's because she was clicking on the post title and not the blog name. In the email it will include both so if you are only interested in visiting the one page you would click on the title, but if you would like the entire blog (including the new post) then you would click on the "Layin' Rubber Ink."

Does this make sense? Wanna check it out for yourselves? Well go ahead and subscribe;o)

Freebie Friday

Just wanted to let you know Digital Delights has their Freebie Friday image up for the grabbing:o) head on over to get your un-watermarked DL of this cutie pie and matching sentiment:o)
