I used Dizzy Bee from Rubbernecker because I was up late last night watching the Bee Movie:o)

My DP is SU! paired with Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate. Coloured with Copics: Y35-38, W2-6-8, E41-42-43-44.

well that's STAMPENDOUS!

I came up with some extra time today, so I decided to do a double challenge. I combined a sketch: participate HERE

with a colour: participate HERE

and this is what I got:


My stamp set is Stampendous and my ribbon is SU! I coloured with Copics: E42-43-44, BG000-72, R20-21.

Where's the Litter Box?

I used American Craft DP paired with Black and White CS. My ADORABLE stamps are from Eat Cake Graphics http://www.eatcakegraphics.com/ I embellished with grosgrain and Lrg. Brads. Coloured with Copics: C2-4-6.

Bon Appetite

I used Fancy Pants DP paired with Turquoise and Kiwi. I stamp Bon Appetite from Voila on the Kiwi with VersaMark and I threw on some stripped Grosgrain and satin ribbon and topped everything off with some Rhinestone brads:o) Coloured with Copics: C2-4-6, R27, Y35, E00-02.

Snail Mail Challenge

I decided to start participating is some more sketch challenges because I had so much fun with the Delightful Sketches so I went with The Digi Shacks Thursday challenge.

I needed to pick up an image from them, and gotta say I had a heck of a time deciding! All their images are RIGHT UP my alley! I went with this little guy, you can buy him HERE

I used Chester DP with Celery, White and Black. My ribbon is stitched Grosgrain from CDS and my bling is Filigree from SU! with a clear rhinestone in the center matted on a 1" circle. Coloured with Copics: C2-4-6-8, G82-94, B52. Oh and my snail trail is Dazzling Diamonds with 2 way glue:o)

aRe YoU KiDdinG mE!

I cant believe I've never heard of Dustin Pike/Doodle Dragon! I consider myself a loyal blog hopper and I nearly feel off my seat when I found this site.

I go CRAZY for twisted humour and darkside images so some of these are to DIE FOR! and for those of you with a tamer sense you wont be disappointed either.

Every Wed there's a freebie! I cant go on enough, Don't believe me check it out yourselves HERE. These are so RAD I gotta give him a Blog award!


So I scooped up some freebies to get myself started and this is what I came up with.

My first card is Wild Asparagus DP paired with Moss and Artichoke. My sentiment is from It's Your Birthday. I used some Satin ribbon from SU! and topped the image off with Crystal Effects. Coloured with Copics: W2-4-6-8, BG000-72-75-78, G82-85.

My second card I used My Mind's Eye with Blush Blossom and Riddinghood Red. My sentiment is from "A Light Heart" from SU! I have no idea where my brads came from! I topped the Dragon off with some Crystal Effects. Coloured with Copics: YR00-23-24-61, R02-22-24-27, E00-11-13-15.

The second part of our celebration is to announce our New Bi-weekly Delightful Sketch challenge which will take place every other Thursday with the exception of this first one which is on a Wed!!

Layin' Rubber in Beautiful British Columbia

WOW what a weekend for sightseeing. Sat. morning we headed off to Kelowna BC (400km) for a wedding that was held at the Ceder Creek Winery. As you can see below the view was BREATHTAKING!

Then we came half home Sun morning to a spot called Tamihi (near Cultas Lake) that's famous for Quad trails.

Every Father's Day the whole family (his side) goes here to escape our painful memories of Father's Day 2007, when 6 month old baby Jacob (my nephew) lost the battle against his Chromosome Disease.

There were 14 adults 5 kids and 8 quads. It was great fun bombin around with everyone and no one got hurt despite the crazy things that happened;o)

Birthday Girl

This is a NEW set from Clear Dollar Stamps that is now available called Patchpal Lamby with the coordinating sentiment set Patchpal Messages.


I used Barley banana and Pink Pirouette CS, paired with some American Craft DP.I used my Big Shot with a Nestibililtes die and punched a ribbon slit on the side for my Satin. I faux stitched the pink Pirouette with my Pretty in Pink marvelous marker and topped it with Bella's half pearls. Coloured with Copics: G20-21-24, RV10-11, YR20-21, BG000-01. And to make my Lamby fleecy I added white Liquid Applique.

Card Box Set and Tutorial

So recently Ilina Crouse shared a card box project she made on a Yahoo group I belong to. I emailed her right away to tell her how awesome of a job she had done and asked her if she would share the template. Unfortunately she had purchased the template under copyright and couldn't share it with me, so the fun began! I was bound and determined to create a template myself. There was no way I was paying for the measurements of a box, so that left it up to me:o)

Armed with the "you can do it" from Marie, I was determined to make this box. Thankfully I had a VERY creative demo named Maureen Pollock over to laugh at me when I wasted yet another piece of cardstock:o) I'm happy to say on my 3rd try (6th piece of CS! ever make the same mistake 3x?) this is what I got.



So I ended up using some DP from My Minds Eye and pairing it with Riddinghood Red, Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, and Kiwi Kiss. My sentiment is from Wow Flowers. Here's the eight cards I made:o)

So here's the awesome part. I put things on the Internet for people to use, copy and enjoy, That's why we share our creations right? So here's my template for FREE! I hope you make many beautiful boxes and get tons of smiles because of them.

Start with a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of CS.

Step 1: Score at 2" and 3"

Step 2: Rotate twice and score at 1" and 2"

Step 3: Rotate once and score at 1" and 2"

Step 4: Rotate twice and score at 1" and 2"

Step 5: Cut

Step 6: Add adhesive

Step 7: Flip and add more adhesive

Step 8: fold on the score lines and adhere. VOILA

Alyx's Birthday present

Meet Lola our newest addition to the family. She's a 9 week old Pug and Alyx got her as a Birthday present.

Alyxandria's 2nd Birthday

Well my daughter is now 2. We celebrated Alyx's 2nd Birthday on May31st at Golden Ears Water park in Maple Ridge. It was a beautiful sunny day and she had a dozen little buddies come to share it with her.

These are the goodies bags, or should I say Handy Manny Toolboxes I made as a thank you for coming. They were stuffed to the limit with candies and toys for after the party. The girls ones had the Orange mat and the boys had the blue.

Here's my smiley little hot dog muncher sitting in her brand new Dora chair:o)

and off to play is Riley Wade (3) and Alyx. I kid you not these two will wed one day!
