Design Clique #10

This week we worked with Fluffles Flower Bea from Stampendous.

The first card is by Marie: http://www.marielovestostamp.blogspot.com/

The second one is mine. It's a candy Bar, wrapped in DSP

CDS Sneek Peak, Words of Sypathy

Here's my creations with Words of sympathy which is a sentiment set available on February 1st.

The first card is the sketch and colour challenges Laurie challenged us with. The colours are Pumpkin, Olive, Kraft and Apricot. The stamps are Words of Sympathy and Charlie Frolic. I faux stitched with my Black Copic Multi Liner. I also sponged all my edges which you cant really see but looks great in person.

I coloured with Copics YR12-15-18, YG95-97, E42-43-44-47.

Next I made a punch art card. I made an inside mat but of course my camera is acting up and I cant upload the photo to share with you. I used Yoyo, Galore, Black and White. My small oval punch and my Crimper to do the leaf.

That was fun, make sure and go to the CDS DT's blogs listed in my sidebar to see more:o)

CDS Sneak Peek, Critter Barn

So here we are day 3 (for me) of our Clear Dollar Stamps sneak peeks. This one is called Critter Barn and will be available on February 1st as well.

I used tons of scraps for little here's and there's including Bashful, Garden, Riddinghood, Kraft, and Silver. I added the white to my Barn with my Singo Gel Pen and opened the doors with my Hobby Blade.

Well when I saw the doors I thought British Flag:o) so with the help of my Black Copic Multi Liner and a Ruler I added a couple extra lines and Voila. The sentiment is from Snowman Wishes (CDS). My CS is Riddinghood Red and I coloured with Copics: R39, B39.

Remember to come back tomorrow for more, and to check out the other DT members blog to see what they are up to.

This guys screamed KISSES so I threw in some almond ones.

I used my Top Notes Die twice cutting the riddinghood down with my Hobby Blade. My colours are Riddinghood Red and Brushed Silver.

Nice and simple but a great gift:o)

Well I've been selling these tins for what seems like an eternity and lucky for me I still had some.
I covered Hershey Nuggets with Ginger Blossom DSP and water coloured my Flowers to match with Groovy Guava and Ruby Red. I used my Scallop and Circle Punches for the medallion base and 5/8" Olive Grosgrain. My cardstock colours are Olive, River Rock, Groovy Guava, and Ruby Red.

Strawberry Treats

This is a project I did with my stamp club awhile back and thought you might like to see it since my posting has been non-existent lately.

I promise my creating is off the charts right now. I'm making so much, it's just all dated and you cant see it yet:o( Hang tight though it's worth the wait.

I have a template I traced for the strawberries that I will gladly email you upon request. They are super fast & easy to put together and are filled with yummy surprises.

I stamped the riddinghood CS with SU!'s Itty Bitty Backgrounds to give it "seeds".

Bundle of Joy

Well I'm back from my long weekend of snowboarding at Whistler Mountain (home of the 2010 Olympics).

All though I had great intentions of colouring ALL weekend, the snow got the best of me:o) Because I forgot my Colourless Blenders I struggled to get a couple images coloured. Most of which are the BRAND NEW DESIGNS from Whipper Snapper which will be released later this month.

In this card I used WSD Bunch of Grapes and SU!'s Chit Chat Rub-ons. My colour theme is Mellow Moss Always, Artichoke, and Pale & Perfect Plum. I stamped Canvas on the artichoke to give it texture and accessorised with White brads, Gingham and Taffeta.

Coloured with Copics: BG93-96-99, E43-44, C1, V5-6-9-12.

Lily the Fairy

Pink Cat Studio's is having a contest on their Blog right now (it's in my must see's) where you print this images and create whatever you want with it. When your finished you email it to them and the winner will receive 1 new release and a set of their choosing:o)

The image is a print off from Pink Cat Studios and the sentiment is from Artful Inkables. I used my Nestibilities and Big Shot to make the focal point. Paired it with mystery textured DSP I had kickin' around and matched up Old Olive, with Chocolate Chip. I decorated her wings with Dazzling Diamonds and her checks with my singo white gel pen.

Grandmother's Birthday Book

You got to see the Artfully Asian invitations I sent out to my family inviting them to our grandmothers 90th Birthday event. Well to add to that I made a guest book for her.

We are having a get together at St. Catherine's Anglican Church 2hrs before this evenings service. We are expecting around 75 family members to attend including a dozen flyer-in-ers.

The little flappy thing Velcro's onto the backside.

I alternated 1/4 grosgrain up the spine and used Taffeta on the cover.

I used the sentiment from Elegant Angel a retired SU! set, and DCWV- Nursery-Girl Vines & Flowers???? DSP (I have no idea what I'm talking about) that matched Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery, and Barley Banana CS.

I lined the inside of every page with Vanilla matted on one of the colours and corner rounded.

Just Swingin' By

It felt great to participate in a Colour Challenge.

I normally steer away from them because I LUVS ME MONOCHROMATICS;o) but I knew if I could pull this off, it would be a Christmas Miracle. I HATED THESE COLOURS because they reminded me of the Cutie Pie Paper SU! had last catty, BARF! But with a slight modification from Rose Red to Riddinghood Red I am pleasantly surprised.

I don't know which way I like better??????

I used CDS's Monkey Madness and Aloha sets. The colour challenge was Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze and More Mustard (which was optional) But I was fresh outta Rose Red so in came Riddinghood Red.
I coloured with Copics: G20-82-94, E43-44-47, BG72-75.
Your turn to make one. The deadline is Sun the 4th and the SCS upload code is CDSWCC1

I coloured with Copics: E43-44-47-95, Y28, YG91, G20, R11-81-83-85-89.

I haven't finished this project completely. I plan for it to have an Angel on every second page with my journaling along side it. Then I'll add a photo on the base page.

I used Rose Red with Pretty in Pink and Pink Pirouette.

Believe it or not but there was no Green Copic marker that complimented this DP! YES I own all 344 Sketch markers and the closest blend I found was G2o and YG91. SHOCKING I know!
