Just wanted to post and let everyone know that everything is going great. I have survived the dreaded first trimester and am now 17 weeks along. My due date is April Fools Day and I'd love to hear your jokes about that:o)

Even though things are going well I still find myself out of the crafting spirit and am declaring a maternity leave for an undermined period of time:o( Thankfully my DT's have been more then understanding. I sure hope to see you here when I return and encourage you in the meantime to head over to
Whimsy Stamps,
The Digi Shack and
Kaboodle Doodles and get to know those gals, they are one-in-a-millions!

Hey Alysabeth. I am praying for a healthy pregnancy and delivery to you. Hugs, Lisa
It's so nice to hear from you Alysabeth! I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy for the remaining months!
I had my baby 33 yrs ago on April fools. He was due April 15th and we kept telling mother we would call her April 1st. When we did call in the middle of the night she said April fool to you too. Well he really fooled us all.
Good luck and happy baby!
Congratulations and we will be waiting for your return! I just had a new 'grandbaby' and he is precious. God bless you and your soon to be new 'addition'!
I think the fatigue during your first trimester is God's way of getting us rested before the little one arrives. LOL (very little sleep after that). As for the April Fool's due date. My son was due on April 1st too (many moons ago now), but I was glad for him that he came early (figured the kids would tease him on that day enough). I do have a nephew though about 8 years older than my son who was an April Fool's baby. So . . . either way, it's all good.
Hugs, Kelly L
Oh, I miss being pregnant! I was so sick those first 17 weeks, and every time I got sick, I would look up and say to Him, "Thank God!" I knew it was probably the only time I would ever be pregnant and I treasured every minute of it. After those first 17 weeks I felt a great burst of energy...I don't think I ever felt better in my life. I am so happy for you. So around April 1st, you will have a beautiful gift, fresh from God :)
