New Catalogue Swaps

I received my swaps this week from Marie Kirkwood (in my must see's) and I was so happy with them. Lots of new ideas and creativity.

This is the card I cased from Trina Pham, an awesome Colourful Impressions demo in North Van. (sorry she isn't a blogger)

This was my favorite one out of them. SURPRISE it's Marie Kirkwoods.

Whipper Snapper Class

I recently offered a Gamsol Magic class featuring Whipper Snapper. We made 5 cards for $15 WITH envelopes:o)

Here's 3 of the 5 cards.

I gave everyone these two images to practice with before doing the cards, just in case. As you can see they were REALLY good so when they got home they could make two more cards.

Copic Christmas

What an awesome day with friends. Maureen, Heather and I hit up our favorite lunch spot "OG" and mowed down some bread sticks then polished off with a Copic Whipper Snapper class. The cards were great, but most importantly, I got the confidence to use my own Copics.

This card was considered the hardest and Heather and I defiantly held the line behind us. My sleigh turned out AWESOME though!

I actually own this stamp so I was happy to use it.

Look how cute the little gift is. What a great idea. No surprise here but I own this one too:o)

Loved the colours used in this card. Nothing says Christmas like turquoise.

Tickled Pink

So how many of you out there google yourselves? I know I'm not alone on this so speak up!

It had been awhile since I put my name in that little box and hit enter so I was thrilled to see a link to another blog requesting my info for a card swap from convention I had made. It turns out it caught there eye and then re-vamped it to be their own. The really special thing is not many "casers" (copy and share everything-ers) give credit to the creator anymore. It's sad because allot of hard work and planning goes into our cards and we are so proud and happy to share them.

Check it out it's AWESOME!

Anyone else wanna come over?

Last week I had 2 friends over (well 3 but Heather didn't leave a gift, just her tent trailer for storage;o)

Marie Kirkwood (listed in my must See's) brought me all these gifts. Can you believe it? It was like Christmas. We are always shipping things back and forth and it's really nice when we can get together. Your always welcome Marie.

Then later in the week I had Maureen Pollock over (she wanted to learn Jacobs Ladder) and we chatted and had some lunch.
P.S. I like Maureen allot more during daylight hours:o)

Customer Appreciation Class

This was a FREE class I offered in my monthly newsletter. I maxed the seating at 6 and had a full class within 24hrs. I'm really pleased with the cards:-)

Almost There.

I started this adventure a couple weeks ago now but am just getting around to sharing. The scary thing is it only took 2 days to do. 1 for unloading and painting and the other for loading. Upsetting that I let this room go unused for almost 4 years.

My DH slaving away to get me out of the "dinning room" and into my own space.

I haven't fully finished I still need to hang my curtains, install a ceiling fan, and nail on my 1" shelves for displaying card samples. With 11' ceilings you can really show ALLOT.

It's hard to tell but the table is actually 6'x5.5' and can comfortably seat 8.

I love my cubical from Ikea. So useful but a bit of an eyesore at times.

My DH made these shelves for me a few years ago for extra storage..... sadly I've almost out grown them and will soon need more.

Twisted Christmas

So I'm in a few groups for Marie Kirkwood's "Twisted Christmas" swap and the idea is to make an unusual Christmas card. This is what I made

It's hard to tell because my camera stinks but this card is Rose Red and Pretty in Pink. I used the Coluzzle and Key Tag punch to make the globe and the snowmen form Window Dressings coloured in in pinks and glittered.

This is a Paint Chip borrowed from the local paint shop;-)Santa has dimensional nose and a pom pom on his head.

Okay so I totally bought this set (Holiday Line-up) just for the reindeer image. The others are cute but come on this is ADORABLE! I inked the edges in Chocolate Chip to give it the dirty look and Rudolf has a Pom Pom nose.

Copic Crazy

Well it's probably not hard to imagine but I'm crazy about my Copics. Unfortunately I stink at using them and require TONS of practice. I have oodles of questions and decided to start a yahoo group for Copic collectors. So if this you and your interested in belonging go to

Swaps, swaps, and more swaps.

I'm outta control. Luckily I have others as crazy as me. Here are 3 swaps I made for Marie Kirkwood's New Catty swap.

Here I used Wow Flowers with a new In Colour colour combo.

Here I used Tart & Tangy which just made it into the catty after a retirement from the Summer mini. PHEW! Also All in the Family and a greeting from Inspired by Nature.

Here I used Upsy Daisy and my Coluzzle to create the sunset. I applied versamark and and chalked with sponge daubers in summer sun.
